PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a lamp which lessens the number of components, easy to assemble and is highly reliable. SOLUTION: A connector body 2 has a retaining section 6 for retaining an end 14 of the lamp 1, and a connection section 7 which projects from the end of the lamp 1 and keeps in contact with a lead section 15. The retaining section 6 and connection section 7 have a shape capable of making the lead section 15 insert from an upper part, and a lock section 8 for interrupting the lead section 15 from dislocating from the connection section 7 is integrally formed on the connector body 2 while the lamp 1 is mounted on the connector body 2.
