PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a program automatic recorder which uses copy control information (copiable without restriction conditions, copiable only to one generation, copy prohibited) and considers the copy control information as well. SOLUTION: A program "copiable only to one generation" (Copy Once) of the copy control information is automatically recorded in a recording medium. Otherwise, the program of "copiable only to one generation" (Copy Once) of the copy control information is evaluated as a program with a higher value, made to be easier to be considered as an object for automatic recording and a program closer to tastes of a user is automatically recorded.
