<p>An air conditioner and a control method thereof are provided to restrain the generation of vibration and noise when stopping the operation of a compressor and an engine by driving the compressor by the engine. A clutch(38a, 38b) connects a compressor(31a, 31b) driven by an engine(40) detachably from the engine. A fuel blocking valve(95) blocks fuel supply to the engine. A control part drives the clutch for separating the compressor from the engine and drives the fuel blocking valve for blocking the fuel supply for the engine according to a signal for stopping the operation of the compressor and the engine in the state that the compressor is driven by the engine.</p> |
