A pre-processing system and a method thereof are provided to perform pre-processing based on other methods except the singular value decomposition method as minimizing the overhead increment of feedback. A method for pre-processing data signals in a communication system comprises the following steps. A mobile station determines a spatial beam foaming matrix by using a channel condition matrix which shows the channel condition between the mobile station and a base station(300), and then determines a space orthogonal transform matrix by using the channel condition matrix and spatial beam foaming matrix(302). The base station receives the channel condition information(306).
