Mould for earthenware products

Mould is constructed of a material with a specific heat retention efficiency within the range of 4 to 7 kcal/m2 hour 1/2 deg. Advantage: mould does not require annealing. It is possible to exclude the additional operation of crystallizing the casting in a special kiln, reduce the annealing time of the products, extend the choice of silicate melts used to manufacture acid-resistant products as well as lower the cost of a ton of moulding by 10 to 15%. Use: earthenware products made of a silicate melt which is not easily crystallized.
