<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a stable recording without remarkably deteriorating the jitter value of a reproduced signal obtained from recorded data when adjusting parameters of write-strategy for recording data to an optical disk. <P>SOLUTION: When the jitter value of the reproduced signal obtained from the recorded data is detected and the jitter value exceeds the prescribed threshold value, parameters having a comparatively small influence on the jitter value are adjusted (S177, S184, S185) in the write-strategy, and data are written to a recording medium using the adjusted parameters (S172).
