<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of preventing deterioration in a developer and the occurrence of an image defect due to heat generation by efficiently cooling the developer on a developer carrier, and an image forming apparatus equipped therewith. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device 4 is equipped with a first stirring screw 23, a second stirring screw 24, a developing roller 25 and a regulating blade 29 in a casing 20, and a magnet roller 27 having a plurality of magnetic poles arranged inside the developing roller 25. A first heat sink 33 is arranged between a regulation part 31 and a developing part 30, and a second heat sink 35 is arranged between the developing part 30 and a merging part 32. The first heat sink 33 and the second heat sink 35 are arranged through predetermined space on the outer circumferential surface of the developing roller 25, and come in contact with the developer carried on the developing roller 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
