<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer system enabling a user to always view encrypted broadcast program data recorded in an HDD etc. without impairing portability. <P>SOLUTION: In this computer system, a digital TV broadcast data receiver 100 can be connected to a PC200 as necessary. The digital TV broadcast data receiver 100 is provided with a slot 110 capable of housing an encryption key management unit 300, and the encryption key management unit 300 stores various kinds of information about encryption of the digital TV broadcast data into a nonvolatile memory 301 for key data management. The computer system is configured so that the encryption key management unit 300 can be connected to the PC 200 as necessary instead of the digital TV broadcast data receiver 100 (as well as housed in the slot 110 the digital TV broadcast receiver 100). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
