<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To view a television program constituted of output broadcast data on a television receiver in suitable color tone, regardless of a broadcast signal class in a DVD recorder. <P>SOLUTION: A DVD recorder 1 includes a tuner 2 for receiving a broadcast signal, a decoder section 3 (combining means) for combining broadcast signals, a recorder section 4 for video-recording and playing back broadcast data, an HDMI section 5 for outputting the broadcast data to an external device 10, a control section 6, and a memory section 7. The control section 6 selects one conversion coefficient from among a plurality of conversion coefficients stored in the memory section 7 in accordance with a class of the broadcast signal received by the tuner 2 and a class of output determined by the HDMI section 5, and causes the HDMI section 5 to perform operation multiplying a video signal input to the HDMI section 5 by the transform coefficient. Thus, a color format is accurately converted and a video signal having the color format corresponding to the class of the broadcast data can be output from the HDMI section 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
