<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reservation executing method, a reservation executing system and a display device, wherein a duplicate reservation can be evaded beforehand. <P>SOLUTION: In the display device having an input part which accepts the videotape recording reservation of a broadcasting program, when the display device accepts a signal indicating the start-up of the videotape recording reservation from the input part, reservation information which is in advance stored in a storage part and is transmitted to a videotape recording device is read out by a readout means. Similarly, an auxiliary readout means reads out the reservation information which is in advance transmitted from the videotape recording device to the display device and is stored in the storage part.
