<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an mobile electronic device capable of surely determining whether time information, based on the clock signals of a RTC is exact, without making erroneous decisions. <P>SOLUTION: An oscillation circuit part 51 writes a starting information, indicating starting of the oscillation motion of a crystal oscillator 60, to a resister 52, when supplying of power voltage from a power source 46 starts with accompanying start-up. A CPU 45 recognizes whether the starting information is written in the resister 52 at start up; and when the starting information is written, it decides that the time information is inaccurate.
