<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a motor, and to easily start traveling. <P>SOLUTION: In this hybrid car 20, when the execution conditions of lock control of a motor MG2 are established, first torque Tm2A and second torque Tm2B larger than the first torque Tm2A are set so that the absolute value of the rotation speed Nm2 of the motor MG2 can exceed a threshold Nm2ref in the range of a low rotation speed in a motor lock state, and when the execution conditions of lock control are established, the motor MG2 is controlled so that lock control for outputting torque changed between the set first torque Tm2A and second torque Tm2B can be executed.
