<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduction treatment apparatus and a reduction treatment method, capable of lowering treatment cost. <P>SOLUTION: In a reduction oven 2 in which zinc-containing iron oxide, zinc oxide or iron oxide is supplied, at least one of waste, effective as a reducing agent, capable of generating a heat quantity necessary for reduction, and selected from the group consisting of ASR, electronic shredder dust, waste plastics, RDF obtained from wastes, RPF, sludge, oil spot, wood wastes, waste textiles, waste rubbers, and animal and plant residues, is supplied and used as a heat source to perform a reduction treatment without using an assistant fuel, thus producing metal iron by reducing zinc and/or iron oxide while contriving the reduction of treatment cost (the reduction of running cost due to avoiding the use of an assistant fuel). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
