PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arranging method of liquid droplet discharge heads capable of enhancing the drawing quality by a plurality of liquid droplet discharge heads while permitting liquid droplet discharge characteristics different at every liquid droplet discharge head. SOLUTION: In the arranging method of functional liquid droplet discharge heads 17 for arranging and fixing a plurality of the functional liquid droplet discharge heads 17 on a common carriage plate 53, a plurality of the functional liquid droplet discharge heads 17 are arranged and fixed so that the difference between the liquid droplet discharge amounts of two discharge nozzles 98 mutually positioned at the innermost ends of the mutual functional liquid droplet discharge heads 17 adjacent to each other in the direction of a nozzle array 99 falls within a predetermined allowable difference range and the liquid droplet discharge amounts of two discharge nozzles 98 positioned at both outermost ends in the direction of the nozzle array 99 in the carriage plate 53 falls respectively within a predetermined reference amount range.
