PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave shielding sheet with a new structure, which has a novel grounding structure which makes direct connection to an outer earth terminal possible, which achieves reduction in the cost of a plasma display device without applying a special design to and giving a consideration to the plasma display, and on which a scratch is not easily made in a manufacturing process. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic wave shielding sheet 1a has a base film 2a, an electromagnetic wave shielding layer composed of a mesh-like pattern and a ground layer 4a electrically connected with the electromagnetic wave shielding layer which are formed on one surface 6a of the base film 2a, and is provided with a folded-back portion 5a on the base film 2a where the ground layer 4a is formed, the folded-back portion 5a being folded back with the other surface 7a of the base film 2a inside.
