PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for packaging a bucket-like container which allows gripping a handle of the bucket-like container with the hand. SOLUTION: The method for packaging the bucket-like container 1 having the handle 6 pivoted on a pivoting section 3 provided at the circumference of an opening section with a packaging bag 4, includes the step of putting the body of the bucket-like container not provided with the handle into the packaging bag and packaging it before pivoting the handle from the outside of the packaging bag. Moreover, the handle is pivoted from the outside of an opening section cover after covering the opening section of the bucket-like container by using the opening section cover instead of the packaging bag.
