PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorbing material made of corrugated cardboard for stably loading an item to be packed having less deformation of a support caused by a load. SOLUTION: A hollow cushioning material 2 includes a top panel 3 for receiving the bottom face of an electronic device 100 and supports 4a-4f made of laminated corrugated cardboard and fixed to a plurality of positions (here 6 positions) on the back face of the panel 3. The warp of the panel 3 eases the transmission of a shock to the device 100. The support 4a-4f are so stacked that the vertical direction of the cardboard sheet is perpendicular to the top panel 3. The pillars 4a-4f are formed with an inclining face 41 by diagonally cutting a corner part of the side (top panel 3 side) where a shock is applied. The width of a fixing face 42 supporting the frame 100a of the device 100 being fixed to the panel 3 is smaller than the width of the frame 100a.
