PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing device for a roof panel in which roof members do not interfere with each other with less number of drive sources. SOLUTION: The opening/closing device 2 for the roof panel is provided with front, middle and rear roof panels 21, 22, 23 and a back window 24; and a front side link mechanism and a rear side link mechanism 4. The opening/closing device 2 is further provided with a drive motor 5 for driving the front side and rear side link mechanisms 3, 4; and a timing mechanism 8 for avoiding interference of the front and middle roof panels 21, 22 and the rear roof panel 23 and the back window 24 by transmitting drive force of the drive motor 5 to the front side and rear side link mechanisms 3, 4 such that a movement amount of the front and middle roof panels 21, 22 and a movement amount of the rear roof panel 23 and the back window 24 are made different when a retractable roof 20 is position-changed.
