PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a screw machining method for forming a thread at low cost by continuous high-speed operation without damaging a tap and/or die without oil adhesion. SOLUTION: The screw machining method for threading a screw-hole forming member or round bar member with a tap or die, uses a process of screw machining while cooling the tap or die by blowing air thereto from a compressor to prevent the tap or die from being heated during threading.
