ELEVATOR CAR

An elevator car has a car floor and a car room that are provided on a lower beam. A pair of vertical columns are connected to opposite ends of the lower beam and vertically arranged on both sides of the car room. A pair of rod-like members is connected to the car floor and vertically arranged on the opposite sides of the car room. A rectangular upper frame has first and second parallel upper beams, and also has third and fourth upper beams arranged between the first and second upper beams. The third and fourth upper beams interconnect opposite ends of the first upper beam and opposite ends of the second upper beam. The rectangular upper frame is connected above the car room to the vertical columns and to the rod-like members. A pair of installation beams is connected between the first and second upper beams. A car suspension portion to which suspension means is connected is provided between the installation beams.
