A method of reducing habituation to fragrances, the method comprising: a) periodically releasing a first fragrance until a first amount of that fragrance has been released; b) periodically releasing a second fragrance until a second amount of that fragrance has been released; and c) repeating steps a) and b). A spraying device suitable for implementing said method is also described.
