<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club which is easy to handle, which allows a player to increase carry, and which has excellent stability in direction. <P>SOLUTION: The golf club is mounted with a hollow head that comprises a face part 1a, a sole part 1c, a side part 1d and a crown part 1b. The hollow head is provided with a head front part 1A including the face part 1a, a head rear part 1B, and a head middle part IC positioned between the head front part 1A and the head rear part 1B. The head middle part 1C is disposed with lightweight members 5 and 6 which are formed of a member having a smaller specific gravity or smaller thickness than that of the head front part 1A and the head rear part 1B.
