<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out optimal heating control for each of an iron pan and an SUS pan with magnetism so as to obtain an optimal input. <P>SOLUTION: A control means 22 for controling the output of an inverter circuit 14 that supplies a high-frequency current to a heating coil 13 that heats a load pan 11 on a top plate 12 determines that the load pan 11 being heated has a magnetic load when a current value detected by an input current detecting means 16 is higher than a threshold level set in the control means 22, in the case where a current value detected by an input current detecting means 16 for detecting an input current to a direct current power supply 15 for supplying power to the inverter circuit 14 is less than a current value corresponding to an output set by an output setting means 21 while the control means 22 is in the operating state where the driving duty of the inverter circuit 14 is the highest.
