PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate insertion of a magnet into a magnet insertion hole provided at a rotor and improve reliability in an electric rotating machine in the magnet-embedded electric rotating machine. SOLUTION: In this magnet-embedded electric rotating machine having the rotor which rotates inside a stator and a plurality of permanent magnets disposed in a circumferential direction of the rotor, the rotor is constituted by rotor pieces divided into a rotating shaft direction corresponding to the number of the permanent magnets, and the divided rotor pieces are provided with the magnet insertion hole exposed to one of the divided surface.
