PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector for fully radiating heat generated from light sources while reducing cost. SOLUTION: The projector comprises light sources 10R, 10G, 10B, an optical path changing means 20, a light modulating means 40, a microlens array 30 transmitting light emitted from the optical path changing means 20, to the light modulating means 40, and a projecting device 50 projecting light modulated by the light modulating means 40, on a projection plane 60. A plurality of light sources 10R, 10G, 10B are formed by forming a plurality of light emitting parts 11R, 11G, 11B emitting the same color light, on a substrate 12, and the microlens array 30 condenses the same color light emitted from the plurality of light emitting parts 11R, 11G, 11B, into apertures formed in pixels of the light modulating means 40 and condenses different color light emitted from the plurality of light sources 10R, 10G, 10B, to the different pixels of the light modulating means 40.
