摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold clamping force measuring sensor that is free from problems, such as unstable output from the strain sensor, failure of the strain sensor, and instability of the mounting posture of the sensor holder, and that allow the mold clamping force of a tie bar to be measured with high accuracy. SOLUTION: This mold clamping force measuring sensor 1 has an oval ring-shaped structure in its entirety surrounding the tie bar 50 wherein a pair of square bar-shaped and semioval ring-shaped sensor holding bodies 2 and 3 each holding a strain sensor 5 are joined to each other by a hinge 4. On the hinge 4 side, a first positioning tool 11 is provided, which includes: an end block body 12; a protrusive piece 15 for dropping prevention fastened/fixed by a fastening screw 10; and two side plates 17 firmly fixed on both side surfaces of the block body 12 and close-disposed on both side surfaces of the holding bodies 2 and 3. On an open side, a second positioning tool 21 is provided, which includes: an end block body 22; a circumferential displacement prevention piece 24 situated between end faces of the holding bodies 2 and 3, and fastened/fixed by the fastening screw 10; and two side plates 26 firmly fixed on side surfaces of the block body 22 and close-disposed on the both side surfaces of the holding bodies 2 and 3.
