PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow sensor which is capable of detecting snow by excluding rain, extremely suppressing consumption power and obviating the need of a wire and a power source. SOLUTION: This snow sensor in a representative structure includes a pair of electrodes 20 with a prescribed gap therebetween, a snow reception base 12a receiving snow between the pair of electrodes, and a resistance measuring section 30 for measuring an electrical resistance value between the pair of electrodes.
