PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding torch which reduces neither life of a lighting device for illuminating a welding spot nor operability of the welding torch. SOLUTION: The welding torch 11 includes a torch body 12, one-line type power cable 14 to supply power from a welding power source, and a torch holder 15 which combines the torch body and the one-line type power cable as a unit and has a control lever 17 at the bottom to turn on or off the control switch. Furthermore, a lighting device 18 is provided at the front bottom part of the torch holder 15 to illuminate a welding spot. The lighting device 18 illuminates the spot when the welding power source is turned on and the control switch is turned off.
