PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine capable of preventing an abnormal operation such as an error from occurring when it is switched to a ball pulling out state for pulling a ball outside. SOLUTION: The pinball game machine is provided with: a flow passage switch means 110 which switches a flow passage of a game ball over to either a payoff guide gutter 131 for guiding the game ball to a payoff device above the payoff device 125 or a ball pulling out gutter 201 for pulling the game ball outside the game machine; a payoff device forcible operation means which can forcibly actuate the payoff device to pay off the game ball from the payoff device; and a payoff game ball non-detection means which makes the detection of the game ball by a payoff game ball detection means invalid or impossible due to the switching of the flow passage switch means 110 to a pulling out state for guiding the game ball to the ball pulling out gutter 201 from a payoff state for guiding it to the payoff guide gutter 131.
