PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability during a tilling operation by sufficiently providing resisting force to the tractive force of a tilling device by the wheels in a walking-type working machine that has a constitution of shifting an operation state to a movement state or reversely the movement state to the operation state without attaching wheels to a body or removing the wheels. SOLUTION: In the walking type working machine 1 equipped with a tilling device 4 at the front of a machine body, the wheels 8 are attached to the rear of the machine body so as to adjust the vertical position and a rotation resistance providing means 40 for providing the wheels 8 with rotation resistance is provided.
