PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC coaxial power cable wherein the insulation performance of a return path insulating layer is improved. SOLUTION: In this DC coaxial power cable having a main conductor 1 at the center, having a return path conductor 5 formed by concentrically stranding a large number of return path conductive strands on its outside with a main internal semiconductive layer 2, a main insulating layer 3, and a main external semiconductor layer 4 interposed in a consecutive order, and having a return path internal semiconductive layer 6, a return path insulating layer 7, and a return path external semiconductive layer 8 in a consecutive order at the outside of them, the return path internal semiconductive layer 6 is composed of a semiconductive tape wound layer 6a formed on the return path conductor 5, and a semiconductive resin extruded layer 6b molded on the wound layer by extrusion.
