The unit (10) has a processor (12) and a data storage (14), an operating system (20) and a file management (22) that stores files in a hierarchically structured namespace (24). A test system (50) detects a non existing name entry (26') in the namespace during an operating system request and automatically releases a linking with another namespace (40). The test system searches missing name entry in the namespace (24) in a namespace register.
