A system and a method for preventing the illegal distribution of contents are provided to prevent the illegal registration of contents, which have identical header information, on the internet by checking the header information on the internet even though it is impossible to track or identify specific contents of which mark is damaged by hacking or cracking. A tracking unit(20) tracks and downloads tracking target contents by visiting a setup internet web site. An analyzing sever(30) receives the tracking target contents from the tracking unit, analyzes the intrinsic information of the contents and stores the analyzed result to a database. When a user tries to upload the contents to be registered by connecting to an internet website, an admission sever(50) approves whether or not the contents are uploaded on the internet by analyzing the intrinsic information of the contents and comparing the information with the intrinsic information of the tracking target contents. |
