<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mutually utilize information indicating a reproduction stop position in a client connected to a network including a server preserving the content and a client directly connected to the server, and to restart the reproduction of the content whose reproduction is stopped in a certain client from the stop position in a different client. <P>SOLUTION: The content reproduction system is provided with: a recording and reproducing device for preserving and reproducing the content; a reproducing device connected through the network to the recording and reproducing device, for receiving the content from the recording and reproducing device and reproducing the received content; a display device connected to the recording and reproducing device, for receiving video information obtained by reproducing the content in the recording and reproducing device and displaying the received video information; and a bookmark management part for storing bookmark information for indicating a reproduction stop part in the recording and reproducing device for each piece of content and bookmark information indicating the reproduction stop part in the reproducing device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
