<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of efficiently cooling a developer to prevent the formation of a lump of the developer due to the melting of toner and capable of reducing the temperature rise of a toner concentration sensor to carry out stable toner supply control, and to provide an image forming device. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device 20 includes: a receiving carrier screw 35 carrying the spent developer received from a developing roll 21 to a rotation axis direction; an agitating carrier screw 38 receiving the developer supplied from the receiving carrier screw 35 and carrying it to the rotation axis direction; and a feeding carrier screw 32 receiving the developer supplied from the agitating carrier screw 38 and supplying it to the developing roll 21 while carrying it in the rotation axis direction. A ventilating means 47 is provided on the outside of a member constituting a developer agitation chamber 29 in which the agitating carrier screw 38 is enclosed, to ventilate upstream from downstream in the developer carrying direction of the agitating carrier screw 38. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
