<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain preferable display while eliminating an erroneous operation of a TFT due to reflected light of incident light from an observation side, with respect to a reflective active matrix liquid crystal display element in which a plurality of pixel electrodes, TFTs, scanning lines and signal lines are disposed on the inner face of a substrate on the observation side and a counter electrode is disposed on the inner face of a substrate on the opposite side. <P>SOLUTION: The plurality of the pixel electrodes, a plurality of TFTs 5 connected to the pixel electrodes 4, a plurality of the scanning lines and signal lines are disposed on the inner face of the substrate 1 on the observation side, and a counter electrode 17 and a reflective face 18 are formed on the inner face of the substrate 2 on the opposite side. The counter electrode 17 constitutes a plurality of pixels in regions opposite to the respective pixel electrodes 4. The reflective face 18 is formed corresponding to the arranged region of the plurality of the pixels, has a lacked portion 19 in a part corresponding to at least TFT 5 in a region except the region corresponding to the plurality of the pixels, and reflects light made incident from the observation side, to the observation side in a region except the lacked portion 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
