<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve usability, convenience, and usefulness of an non-contact IC card. <P>SOLUTION: When the non-contact IC card is stored, this IC card storage device communicates with the non-contact IC card, and reads information from the non-contact IC card. Thereby, information about a use history or the kind of the stored non-contact IC card is obtained. When distinguishing the kind of the non-contact IC card, the IC card storage device makes an image (a kind-adaptable image) corresponding to the kind displayed to clearly show the kind of the non-contact IC card stored thereinside. The device can add and display the use history by reading the use history, used position information (a name of a place or a store) or the like, and clearly shows the use place on a map image, at that time.
