RESIN-COATED METAL PLATE AND MOLDING USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-coated metal plate which is excellent in adhesion and corrosion resistance even when severe processing such as deep drawing and molding are performed after coating a surface treating layer with an organic resin without using chromium and further to provide a molding using the resin-coated metal plate.

SOLUTION: A surface of an aluminum substrate having a surface treating film at least on one side is covered with an organic resin film layer via an adhering layer to form the resin-coated metal plate. The resin-coated metal plate excellent in adhesion and corrosion resistance is characterized by that the adhering layer contains a cationic group-containing resin and an aqueous resin. The molding such as a can body and a can lid formed by using the resin-coated metal plate is also provided.
