PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for removing a device which has a housing flatly adhered to a window glass, particularly, for helping removal of a sensor on a windshield of a vehicle. SOLUTION: The tool has at least one projecting engagement member at the one end of the longitudinal direction. The engagement member can be engaged with the exposed edge of the device and there is an opening or a recessed area for a levering tool at a certain distance in the longitudinal direction from the engagement member. The tool is applied to the device by engaging it with the rear part of the exposed edge of the device housing. Next, the levering tool such as a simple bar or a screwdriver is pressed into the opening or recessed area and applied it so as to be borne by the top of the device housing.
