PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the maximum interpolation resolution without reducing a processing speed in an interpolation operation by fixed-point operation. SOLUTION: A camera 1 for painting and calligraphy calculates differential value P between the digit number H of a divider and the digit number (Nx, Ny) of maximum coordinate value (um, vm) of a correction image at the time of affine inverse transform, and shifts the digit number of a fixed-point part in the affine inverse transform by the calculated differential value P. Since the digit number in the affine inverse transform never exceeds the digit number of the divider, therefore, breakage of interpolation operation is prevented. Since various processings for compensating the breakage of the interpolation operation are dispensed with, reduction in processing speed is suppressed. Since the maximum interpolation resolution is obtained without reducing the processing speed, damage on the image quality of the correction image by reduced interpolation resolution is prevented.
