PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fiber reinforced resin container having a portion of a layer sufficiently impregnated with a resin without excessively increasing the dimension in a method and a device for manufacturing the fiber reinforced resin container. SOLUTION: A liner rotating device 36 for wrapping a liner 12 on resin impregnated fibers 32 obtained by impregnating carbon fibers 30 with the resin, and a resin replenishing tank 22 for storing the resin provided on a lower side of a portion of the liner rotating device 36 where the liner 12 is disposed, are provided. The resin replenishing tank 22 is movable in the vertical direction by a replenishing tank vertical movement mechanism 38. By changing the vertical position of the resin replenishing tank 22 according to the number of wrapped layers of the resin impregnated fibers 32 wrapped around the liner 12, the amount of resin impregnated at a portion toward the inner diameter of the plurality of wrapped layers of the resin impregnated fibers 32 wrapped around the liner 12 is made larger than the amount of resin impregnated in at least a portion of the other portions of the wrapped layers.
