PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair of scuffs, lowering the material cost, light-weighted, easily folded in a compact manner, and hardly causing creases in a part covering the instep of a wearer's foot when being unfolded from the folded state so that the wearer can easily put on. SOLUTION: The scuff 1 includes a bottom member 2 on which the foot is placed; and an instep covering material 3 extended from one side edge 2a of the bottom member 2 to the other side edge 2b at the toe side to cover the instep of the foot, wherein the instep covering member 3 includes a first side surface part 7, one end 7a of which is connected to the one side edge 2a of the bottom member 2, a second side surface part 8, one end 8a of which is connected to the other side edge 2b of the bottom member 2, and a top face part 9, both ends of which are connected to the other ends 7b, 8b of the first and second side surface parts 7, 8, and the first and second side surface parts 7, 8 are made softer than the top face part 9.
