PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine capable of suppressing an insulation defect in an illumination means including a light emitting diode, fogging due to vapor attachment, and a collision break. SOLUTION: The washing machine includes: the body frame of the washing machine having an outer opening in the upper part for putting-in/taking-out clothing; an outer lid body freely openably arranged in the body frame so as to see through the body frame for opening/closing the outer opening; a water reception outer tub arranged inside the body frame and having a first inner opening, in the upper part, for putting-in/taking-out the clothing corresponding to the outer opening; a rotary washing tub arranged inside the water reception outer tub and having a second inner opening, in the upper part, for putting-in/taking-out the clothing positioned inside the first inner opening; and an inner lid body freely openably arranged in the water reception outer tub so as to see through the rotary washing tub for opening/closing the first inner opening and the second inner opening.
