The plant for producing water from atmospheric moisture has a compressor (30) which compresses coolant. The coolant is then cooled by passing it through a heat exchanger (36) and expanded to condense moisture from the air. The compressor is driven by electricity produced by a wind turbine (12). An independent claim is included for a method for producing water from atmospheric moisture using the plant.
