DEVELOPING UNIT AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS EMPLOYING THE SAME

A developing unit and an image forming apparatus are provided to prevent the supply of developer in a both end side of the developing member more than a center part of that and to prevent the leakage of the developer. A developing unit forms an image on photosensitivity media in which a latent image is formed owing to electric charge and exposure light. A housing includes the developer of the predetermined color. A catch pole picks up the developer within the housing by magnetic force. A magnetic cylinder(41) includes the primary pole fixing carrier among the developer. A sleeve(45) is installed in the circumference of the magnetic cylinder, and forms a magnetism brush of the fixed width by the developer picked up with the catch pole. A sealing member(60) prevents the leakage of the developer.
