A storage system comprises at least one storage module including a frame 14 with a pair of vertical supports 40 between which is connected at least one rail 60. Two engagement structures, spaced from one another, extend continuously across the rail 60 and can each slidably engage at least one type of storage element, such as hangers 18 or storage bins 20, on flanges 70, 72. Mounting structures 300, located on the rail 60, may comprise selectively engageable angularly spaced mounting members 302, 304, 306, so as to enable securing the rail 60 to the supports 40 in either a horizontal position or an inclined position. The storage system may further include angularly adjustable shelves 46. A corresponding method of adjusting the configuration of the storage elements within the storage system is also claimed. |
