FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to eccentric screw pumps or eccentric screw engines. The proposed eccentric screw pump or engine comprises stator with helical via-bore, helical rotor fitted to the stator bore and incorporating a helically-deformed pipe made up of inner layer 44 and at least one outer layer 45, both pressure-treated to make a helical shape, and a connecting head rigidly coupled with the rotor.
