An interior wiring device, an electrical appliance and a method for protecting interior wiring by using the same are provided to switch a glowing connection defect with a short accident and cope with glowing connection by cutting off electricity supply by operating a corresponding breaker to protect interior wiring safely and reliably, thereby largely reducing damage due to electrical fire. An interior wiring device supplies power to a load through connection to two terminals(60) electrically connected to a breaker on interior wiring. A switching unit shorts the two terminals to operate the breaker when temperature of the connection portion between the terminals and the load increases. The switching unit is a bimetal switch. An alarm unit alarms that the terminals are shorted. The terminals, switching unit and alarm unit(80) are an outlet or a receptacle in an insulator(50).
