KEYPAD ASSEMBLY

A keypad assembly is provided to increase the discrimination of characters, numbers and/or special symbols remarkably by excluding different kinds of characters, numbers and/or symbols in case the same kind of characters, numbers and/or symbols are used. A keypad assembly(1) comprises the followings: a main board(10); a switching means which is arranged at an upper side of the main board to receive data; an optical guide pad layer(30) having at least one optical guide pad; a plurality of light-emitting means which are installed around the optical guide pad layer at predetermined intervals; and a controller of an instrument which irradiates light only to a corresponding portion of the optical guide pad layer, and selectively operates the light-emitting means.
