A discharge lamp holding mechanism is provided to prevent the discharge lamp from being damaged while performing the fixing task. A discharge lamp holding mechanism is made of the discharge lamp and the lamp holder(5). The spinneret(4) is mounted on one end part of the discharge lamp. The lamp holder is attached or detached by setting the discharge lamp in the vertical direction. The spinneret of the discharge lamp comprises the spinneret gas part, the spinneret system temporary fixing tool, and the spinneret main fixing tool. The spinneret system temporary fixing tool is the pillar shape extended to the lamp holder along the pipe shaft. The spinneret main fixing tool is formed on the outer circumference of the leading end side of the spinneret gas part. The lamp holder comprises the holder gas part, and the holder layer main fixing tool. The holder gas part hangs and fits with the spinneret temporary fixing gad tool. The holder layer main fixing tool hangs and fits with the spinneret main fixing tool. |
